SHOUT
Monday, March 2nd, 2009Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
What a tour!!!
We boogied from Bristol to Belfast, in Cardiff, Crewe and Manchester, ‘shouting it’ from London Stratford to Sutton Coldfield from Lincoln to London Waterloo!
Thank you for being a part of Shout it – The Tour January 2009!
Whether you danced like no one was watching or were there to check ‘this God thing’ out. Whether you were one of the charities or support bands that helped to make the evening for us! Whether you joined us in praying, singing, laughing, listening…
Thank you for coming along and thanks for bringing your friends and family too! There are some amazing stories coming from the tour, (Hey would love to hear your stories too – do post your story on here if you have a moment…]
Stories from those who LOVED the music, got a real buzz from the evening. Stories from people who received a new sense of purpose/direction to their lives during the evenings. Some of you talked with me about being moved to do something practical and relevant in your town/city
What an amazing experience!
Amazing too that it is having an effect way beyond the evening itself! That was part of the dream of doing the tour! The team [what a team!!!!] were exhausted at the end but I need to tell you are already talking about ‘the next tour’
Along with all the buzz, music and fun, we feel that the good news theme of ‘Shout It!’ – that God has arrived for and with ordinary people all over this country, people who are already living like it is true…
…that message is not over yet!
…and neither is the party!
Watch this space!
In the meantime, do have a look at the pics – they really capture the excitement and colour, laughter and wonder of our journey around the country. Can you spot yourself?
Check out the shop too if you want to get hold of a ‘Shout it!’ T-shirt or a ‘Shout it!’ CD to remind you of the evening
There are a truckload of generous, gentle, gifted and gorgeous [looking for another ‘g’ there!!] people that helped to make this tour possible.
Shout It! – The Tour January 2009 would not have happened without them…
…whether they were involved in ticketing, merchandising, printing, venues and hosting, transport, website upgrades, media and publicity, those who prayed for the tour, not forgetting the top tour management team, the charities featured, ohmyword’ the band, choirs and local support artists…
I remain very grateful to God for the whole experience.
Thank you again for being a part of it
Keep in touch
