And so to Lincoln!

It was a long journey but all good! Especially for Calvin as we stopped in the village called… Hollingworth!! He scooted down the street to check out the parish of Hollingworth! But the best thing was the bakery! Lovely, lovely!! Caz was exceptionally pleased as the sight of snow, but remained committed to the end journey, driving the gang over the peak and down again. Snow surely is one of the best created things!

Howard welcomed us warmly when we arrived in Lincoln and continued to serve us so well for the whole time we were there, nothing was too much trouble, even the cash box!! Thankyou. The New Life church was situated so centrally in the town, an amazing location. John Marc and John had set out before us so loads of the set up was done. These 2 just never stop, and remain ever calm. We are seriously grateful for them both. This tour would never have happened to such a high quality without them (and the guide vocalist!!).

The evening was opened by Howard, who led us in worship with a clear focus and stunning voice. His support laid firm foundations for the rest of the evening, an evening of worship. There was sometime distinctive about this evening, Yes, I know, you have heard that from me before! But its true, tonight there was a clear clear sense of worshipping our awesome God. Part of our worship is sung, part is dancing out the Kingdom beat of hope in our everyday lives. Geraldine interviewed B tonight, who works for Acts. Their aim is to connect communities, and give opportunity for folk to be involved in a whole variety of projects locally, all with the focus of acting justly, loving mercy and walking humbly with our God.

The Shout It band was possibly at their best tonight, as song after song not only lifted our eyes to God but also funked up the tunes! big style!. You guys rock!

The amusing event, which as you have read, (there always is at least one!) related to a certain lovely lady, La Donna!. All we can say when you need to go, you need to go, even if that leaves Lady Latty wondering where you are!!! But you’re forgiven, we’re nice like that. Your awesome gift of your voice, contagious laugh and 3 mobile phones!! (its true!) lend us to love you babe!
